Presidents
Our Presidents this year are Andrzej Wieckowski and Maria Lewis.
Andrzej is in his final year as a Law student, having spent his last year abroad in
Copenhagen, Denmark. He is from Poland and passionate about international law and
international relations, economics and sports. Andrzej hopes to attract new people
to the Cathsoc and make it a place where you can relax, meet new friends and
socialise. He’s looking forward to seeing you all!
Maria hails from the twin-island state of Trinidad and Tobago. She is currently in
the final year of her Film and Drama degree, and is interested in films, music,
dancing, reading and swimming. Maria is looking forward to another fun-filled,
exciting year with the members of this society. She’s honoured to be President this
year and she hopes to uphold the excellent standards of her predecessors.

SVP President
The President of our SVP Group is Emily Kennedy. Emily
enjoys voluntary work and is now the SVP President for the third year. In addition
to her involvement with the Cathsoc and the SVP, she is also an active member of the
University History Society.
Emily will be completing her History degree this year. In her spare time, she enjoys
live music, drinking tea and cooking for her friends. She is looking forward to her
final year as SVP President and hopes to get new people involved in helping the
community.
