Meeting Chirst
At the heart of Kent Catholic Society is our commitment to facilitating personal encounters with Christ. We achieve this through regular Mass attendance, Eucharistic Adoration, and retreat opportunities. Our goal is to help each member deepen their relationship with Jesus, whether they're lifelong Catholics or just beginning to explore the faith. Through prayer, sacraments, and spiritual guidance, we strive to make Christ's presence a tangible reality in our university lives.
Feasting The Mind
We believe that faith and reason go hand in hand. Our society is dedicated to nourishing the intellect as well as the soul. We organize regular talks, debates, and study groups on Catholic theology, philosophy, and social teaching. From exploring the works of great Catholic thinkers to discussing how faith intersects with contemporary issues, we aim to equip our members with a robust understanding of their faith. This intellectual journey helps us to articulate our beliefs confidently and engage meaningfully with the academic world.
Growing in Community
Kent Catholic Society is more than just a religious group – we're a family. We foster a warm, inclusive community where lasting friendships are formed. Through social events, shared meals, and community service projects, we create opportunities for members to connect, support each other, and grow together in faith. Our community is a place where you can be yourself, share your joys and challenges, and find a support system that extends beyond your university years.
Transforming the Culture
We believe that our faith calls us to be a positive force for change in the world around us. Kent Catholic Society is committed to living out the Gospel values in our daily lives and in the wider university community. We engage in various outreach and service initiatives, promoting social justice, ethical living, and care for the environment. By witnessing to our faith through action, we aim to contribute to a culture of love, respect, and compassion on campus and beyond.
